DIVE TRIP
New info:: We have nitrox tank facility in Peleliu shop since June 2011. But we buy Oxgen from koror and add to air. Oxygen in palau is so expensive,, cost to make 32% air is about $25 !! but we still offer $12/per tank only. If you want to rent Nitrox tanks, pls let us know before you come to Palau. so we can prepare for it.
DIVE TRIP
Peleliu Island has some of the best diving Palau has to offer. Beautiful unspoiled walls, Sharks galore, untouched coral gardens, adrenalin fueled drift dives and best of all, it's still relatively undiscovered, meaning, no crowds.
Some of the best accommodation on Peleliu island is, at most, a 5 minute drive away from the shop, so let us come and pick you up. Breakfast at Yellow Wall restaurant, serving some of the best international cuisine on the island. Then it's a 50 yard walk, (all equipment is packed for you of course), to our speed boat, Maml 1, for the dive trip of a life time.
Your diving for the week doesn't have to be just around Peleliu. Some Koror's finest and most popular dive sites, Blue Corner, Blue Holes and German Channel, are just 5 to 10 minutes away. Imagine a live aboard dive schedule, (4 to 5 dives a day), with out being confined to a boat. The best diving Palau has to offer is right on your doorstep and you can experience it all at Maml Divers, Peleliu.

Dose u use DIN , do they need a adapter ?
>>we have arround 25 tanks for DIN valve, other $150 tanks are Regular valve.

I read something about the new dive place they found, what so special about this plays?
>>It is only when Full moon. then you need to go early morning as like departure AM5:00. We need addtional charge $40pp for service fee.
Will we need NITROX and do you have the NITROX?
>>sorry, nobody service Nitrox in Peleliu yet. but we are now instrolling Nitrox missing machine in Peleliu. it will be set next month Sep 2010
Do you have torches for rent for the night dives?
>>yes, we have. It is $10 per day.
What time do you usually start night dives at?
>18:00PM
so u mean if i stay in koror, you only go to dive sites in pelileu when you have 4 divers, is that right? $120 includes cost of transport
from koror on your private boat?
>>yes need more than 4 person request,so we prepare another boat for Peleliu trip. but need additonal fuel fee $20 per person and $20 for Peleliu State dive permit fee/ pp.
if i stay in pelileu, then you will take me diving even if just one person? and for $100 for 2 dives?
>> yes, even only one diver, we provide boat trip..
with a two tank dive, how many places can i see? just one? or can i go 2 dive sites?
>> 2 dive are different spot. but offcourse if guests like same spot, you may..
do you visit the same places from both Pelileu and Koror? or is there an advantage to going from Pelileu?
> Yes, you can dive at Peleliu dive spot anydays, if u stay in Peleliu. If you stay koror, we need 4 person to go to dive in Peleliu from Koror. because those are 30min addional far.
As for diving, I belive Peleiu is closer to the dive sites? Is it a big difference?
>>yap, most of famous dive spot are within 15 min from Pelelu. If u go from Koror, takes about 1 hr to there.
>>but if you like ship wreck dive site or Ulong side point, you should stay in koror. almost of ship wreck point are arround koror island.
Do you recpommend us to wait for the full moon which is, I think on 6th of August?
>> yes, if you can... bcz fishes make love on full moon term. so fish make school for it..
So can you tell me when is the absolutely best time to go to Peliliu?
- both in terms of weather, fish, water, visibility - everything.
>>oh,,, difficult to say when. as weather,, July and Augusts has tyhoon sometime, then cant dive at Peleliu site.. tyhoon never come direct but,even near by Philippine, still wave remain hi.
>>visibilty depend on tide and wather,, if after big rain, be worth. also when tide up, coming good. fish ans shark,,,, season,, from December to May.
I would assume it is March, but please let me know when you recommend to go.
I still haven't made it to the Pelilu express, and the Yellow wall and
that it hard to have missed.
>>yes,sure.. march is one of the best season in PPalau. you can dive there. specially on full moon or new moon, you have a big chance to see super big school of blue-lined snapper, this is super dive
